Apsara Konda is a small village , which is 8km from Honnavara taluk of Uttara Kannada district. Apsara Konda means the pond of angels. As the name says it has a history which native people believe that angels from heaven came to Apsara Konda to take bath.
The waterfall is on top the hill which is facing towards a sea, which makes a beautiful view for a sunset. There are lots of small caves also known as Pandava caves. Native people believe that Pandava’s had stayed in these caves during their Vanavasa period.
It also has a unique park built by the shells and the stones. The wall and the benches made up of shells are really a unique and you will end up taking pictures posing on that.
The sunset from the top of the hill is a unique experience because you will get to experience a clear view of the sea, sun and sky all together. The view of the coastal line looks really amazing from the top the hill.
